Week of 18 March
- I spent some of the weekend taking out some of the kitchen and bathroom installations in the new place. Most of it was simple enough, with just a handful of stubborn screws, and there are just a handful of pieces that are attached to something electrical or that will release far too much water where it's not meant to be.
- It was an odd one at work this week, a little disheartening for reasons outside anyones control. But all we can do is keep our chins up and carry on.
- We went out for brunch this weekend to a cafe that does largely egg & nut-free food — perfect for Abby's dietary requirements. They also make some top-notch donuts, so after a semi-healthy brunch, we picked up a couple donuts for the week.
- This evening also saw us head out to see Jason Leung on a whim and he was hilarious! An intersection dumb dick-jokes and observational cultural humour.
- I switched this site over to use a self-hosted GoatCounter for the limited analytics needs I'm after. I used to use a self-hosted Plausible instance, but it was incredibly resource intensive just to know which posts were actually being visited / might need some revisions over time.
