I spent some of the weekend taking out some of the kitchen and bathroom installations in the new place. Most of it was simple enough, with just a handful of stubborn screws, and there are just a handful of pieces that are attached to something electrical or that will release far too much water where it's not meant to be.
It was an odd one at work this week, a little disheartening for reasons outside anyones control. But all we can do is keep our chins up and carry on.
We went out for brunch this weekend to a cafe that does largely egg & nut-free food β perfect for Abby's dietary requirements. They also make some top-notch donuts, so after a semi-healthy brunch, we picked up a couple donuts for the week.
This evening also saw us head out to see Jason Leung on a whim and he was hilarious! An intersection dumb dick-jokes and observational cultural humour.
I switched this site over to use a self-hosted GoatCounter for the limited analytics needs I'm after. I used to use a self-hosted Plausible instance, but it was incredibly resource intensive just to know which posts were actually being visited / might need some revisions over time.
