Week 99 — New car who dis?
On Monday and Tuesday this week I was in Melbourne for 2 days of a week long in person workshop. It was so so nice to see work people in real life again! On Monday I caught up with a few folks from our Data Intelligence camp for dinner and a drink (some folks I had worked with before, and some new pals), and then Tuesday I had a quick drink and a snack with my team before rushing off to the airport home!
On Wednesday we went out to trivia where Clare and I didn't do soo badly, but we did discover that Gang Gang serve a chilli loaded chai (amazing with oat milk) — which is basically a chai with chilli powder and bourbon — gosh was it easy to drink! I think that had something to do with our success!
On Thursday we went and saw our Braves play the touring USA / Canada all stars team — and I think there's a reason they're called all stars! We got thrashed 11-5 (or 12-5?) but it was an incredible and fun game to watch!
On Friday I picked up a new Electric Kona (that I put the deposit down for in March!). It is amazing! CarPlay is the best, and not having to worry about petrol is even better! I will defo post a longer post about it here a bit later :)
On Saturday we went off to the Arboretum for some Winter in the Woods festivities. The day was anything but wintery! The skies were clear, there wasn't much wind, it was lovely!! Sebby and Clare had a great time collecting and throwing pebbles on one of the paths. And Sebby did a bit of exploring in the playground before wanting to move on and check out the rest of the Arboretum.
