Week 91 — clear voices, big hearts, can't lose
- Had Monday off this week for a refresh day! I didn't get up to much because I completely forgot it was on, and didn't organise anything that would need organising until it was too late. So did some house-work, and got in to Marathon for a bit. It's an interesting game! For some reason the UI feels really hard to decipher — which makes deciding which things to pick up on a run (or which things I need to make sure I have before a run) a tricky endeavour! But it's fun nonetheless. I have been trying to write down the learning process because the more I play, the more patterns become recognisable, and the more it all makes sense!
- On Friday I had most of the day off caring for Sebby and taking him to his immunisation appointment in the arvo. He was such a champ! A few tears, but was back to his normal self once the discomfort of the needles stopped.
- On Sunday Sebby and I caught up with my cousin Coco, Nectar and Caper at Dairy Road. Sebastian took a moment to warm up, but was then quickly in to the little stream of water there! After a bit of morning tea / lunch we popped in to a cute little book shop where I picked up a book of translated Greek poetry.
- Later that evening / arvo, Sebby and I went and watched Clare's choir recital. The full show was scheduled for a few hours, but we thankfully got to see Clare's first set! Sebby was an excellent audience member! When a set was over and everyone clapped, he got really excited at the sound, and when it was over his little voice echoed through the hall asking for "more more!". The whole evening was so so special. Seeing someone's hard work and dedication go in to such a beautiful performance and seeing them light up on stage is so heart-filling. Highly recommend it ❤️.
